The JACQUES FAREL hayfield collection was developed with this principle in mind and the passion and emotions of a small team with years of experience in watch production. A collection of watches that combines unique design with ecology and sustainability.
JACQUES FAREL hayfield uses only FSC®-certified wood from native species within cultivated forestry. The vegan lyocell fibres in the strap are obtained from sustainably certified wood using an environmentally friendly production process. Lyocell is biodegradable and leaves no harmful residues. With their smooth structure, the fibres feel soft against the skin. They prevent skin irritation and are therefore ideal for sensitive skin. The packaging design is also environmentally friendly, made from FSC®-certified paper printed with soy-based ink.
Since not all CO2 emissions from the production and transport of the watches can be prevented, the emissions are offset in collaboration with the internationally recognised organisation myclimate. This support stems from a project to preserve the Kakamega rainforest in Kenya.
